Qualifying events are open to all players, regardless of your level of competitive Magic experience. Take your pick from numerous WPN Premium Store Qualifiers (Regional Championchip Qualifiers), happening across major cities in each country, to mid-scale Open events in every country, or travel to a neighboring country for a large-scale Open event.

 

Prove yourself by winning matches of Magic, and you might just be the next South East Asia Champion with an invitation directly to the World Championship and kickstart your Magic Pro journey!

 

 

WPN Premium Store Qualifier (Regional Championship Qualifier)

 

Each WPN Premium Store will be running multiple Qualifiers per cycle. Do not worry if there are no WPN Premium Stores in your vicinity, stores who are working their best towards WPN Premium may also be invited to run Qualifiers.

 

The top 2 players of each WPN Premium Store Qualifier will be awarded invitations to the cycle’s SEA Championship Final.

 

For Season 2 Round 3, each player who participates in a WPN Premium Store Qualifier will receive an Explore promo card (while supplies last).

 

 

For Season 2 Round 3, top finishers of each WPN Premium Store Qualifier will receive an Expressive Iteration promo card.

 

 

For Season 2 Round 3, each player who earns an invitation to the SEA Championship Final from a WPN Premium Store Qualifier will receive a foil Expressive Iteration promo card.

 

 

Open Events

 

Open events are mid to large-scale qualifier events. There are 2 types of Open events: Decentralised or Centralised. Depending on the COVID and international travel situations, in each cycle, Open events will be determined to be decentralised or centralised.

 

If decentralised, there will be a mid-scale Open event in every country. If centralised, there will be a large-scale Open event in a selected country. There will not be both Decentralised and Centralised Open events in the same cycle feeding that respective cycle’s SEA Championship Final.

 

Decentralised Open

 

If a cycle is decentralised, there will be 5 Open events in the cycle, 1 in each country.

The top 8 players of each Decentralised Open will be awarded invitations to the cycle’s SEA Championship Final.

 

Centralised Open

 

If a cycle is centralised, there will be 1 Open event in the cycle, in a selected country.

The top 32 players of the Centralised Open will be awarded invitations to the cycle’s SEA Championship Final.

 

For Season 2 Round 3, each player who participates in an Open event will receive a foil Explore promo card (while supplies last).

 

 

For Season 2 Round 3, top finishers of each Open event will receive an Expressive Iteration promo card.

 

 

For Season 2 Round 3, each player who earns an invitation to the SEA Championship Final from an Open event will receive a foil Expressive Iteration promo card.

 

 

South East Asia Championship Final

 

The SEA Championship Final is an invitation-only event. There will be Last Chance Qualifiers on the Friday before the event with the final chances to earn those coveted invites.

The winner of the SEA Championship Final will be crowned South East Asia Champion and will be awarded an invitation directly to the World Championship.

 

The top 4 players of the SEA Championship Final will be awarded invitations to the cycle’s Pro Tour. *For Season 1 (Cycles 1 to 3), the top 8 players will be awarded invitations to the cycle’s Pro Tour.

 

For Season 2 Round 2, each player who participates in the SEA Championship Final will receive a Dragonlord Silumgar promo card.

 

 

For Season 2 Round 2, top finishers of the SEA Championship Final will receive a foil Dragonlord Silumgar promo card.

 

 

For Season 2 Round 3, each player who participates in the SEA Championship Final will receive a Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle promo card.

 

 

For Season 2 Round 3, top finishers of the SEA Championship Final will receive a foil Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle promo card.
